There is a new trend to drive extension sports utility vehicles. The manufacturers are also taking this trend as a future income option. According to the official news, Mitsubishi has announced to produce an extension SUV in the form of the 2017 Mitsubishi RVR.
2017 Mitsubishi RVR: Features and Changes
Careful decisions have been taken to produce the designing combinations for the upcoming 2017 RVR SUV. Mitsubishi is very curious to introduce a brand new platform for this drive opportunity. It seems that manufacturer will not compromise with the previous designing features. There will be a new combination of weight, length, width, height and aerodynamics. Definitely, the aerodynamics will automatically get changes when all these things will be modified. On the other hand, the use of new platform will enable the Mitsubishi to produce a light weight frame for SUV.
Exterior designing makes this SUV luxurious and elite. Unlike other high-riding models, the Mitsubishi has placed a rear view mirror on the right lateral side of bonnet. The manufacturer has fused the bumpers and grille. Apparently, there is no grille in this sports utility vehicle. The company has produced a large bumper with two major divisions. Each division has small openings with a centrally fixed broad layer containing number plate. There is a stylish bottom layer of bumpers making the front just like a luxury vehicle.
Headlights, indicators and taillights will be equipped with latest LED bulbs. There will be two large round bulbs in the headlamps. The indicators are small and present in the same box. Bonnet of RVR is smooth with two marginal layers. This five door vehicle has a sharp back view with a shade present. Mitsubishi will utilize broader wheels (20 or 21 inches) with 6 armed rims.
Driving cabin is more stylish because of a different decoration approach. Mitsubishi has placed the touch screen below the A/C or air vents on dashboard. This makes the entire view of interior different than other models. Power steering, automatic gearbox, two prominent broader speedometers, Google maps, satellite radio, navigation and other communication features are available. The carmaker will also include the communication gadgets such as Bluetooth, iPod or Smartphone connectivity, USB ports and Wi-Fi.
2017 Mitsubishi RVR: Engine and Safety
The 2017 Mitsubishi RVR will get an updated 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine that will produce 178 horsepower. Mitsubishi is also planning to launch a hybrid facility in next trim levels. Two electric motors with lithium ion batteries will support the engine. Buick Envision and Honda HR-V will be the biggest rivals of the 2017 Mitsubishi RVR. Airbags, stability control, rear view camera, traction control, driving memory, anti collision alert, safety belts, pedestrian alert, and safety belt alert and anti lock brakes will be present for safety.
