Powertrain wise, a 6.2-liter V8 engine has been expected to be used which has the capability to produce 640 HP and a torque of 630 lb-ft. If this engine is a possibility, then it is likely to be paired with an 8-speed CTS transmission system.
Power generated by the engine will be sent to all the 4 wheels via an all-wheel drive configuration. The powertrain is going to benefit from a redesigned framework, and the suspension system is also going to be improved a lot.
Expect the figures on fuel economy of this model to return at 15 MPG in city drive and 21 MPG on highways.
