Nissan is planning to launch the new 2018 Nissan Patrol with significant refreshment which would help Nissan to increase its demand in the market. However, Nissan always launches new versions of the ongoing model, and this 2018 model is another addition to their lineup. Nissan hasn’t declared any details of the 2018 Patrol, but some inside reports have confirmed that this version will surely impress every SUV fans.
2018 Nissan Patrol: Improvements and Redesign
Announcement of this upcoming model has created a huge expectation in the market, and reports are suggesting that Nissan will apply a new design to the outer portion of the body. To improve the look of the car, Nissan will offer some more color pallets for the exterior paint. This 2018 model is still in development stage, and Nissan is applying some new ideas to enhance the aggressive of the car which will attract young generation.
Nissan will launch this model in two trims – Ti and Ti-L. The SUV will face many competitors in the market who are ready to take its position in market. These rivals are: Lexus LS570, Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, Toyota Land Cruiser and GMC Yukon XL.
The 2018 Patrol will carry its old platform as many car reviewers have appreciated its stability. The whole exterior would get some decent amount of up gradation which will help it to exhibit its new stylish and aggressive outlook. New addition that customer will see in the exterior are:

Engines and Transmission
The 2018 Nissan Patrol is expected to carry two-engine variant Although Nissan hasn’t made any official announcement. The base engine will be a 5.6-liter V-8 power unit that would produce 317 HP and 358 lb-ft while its top variant will get 5.6-liter V-8 turbocharged engine which will produce 400 HP and 413 lb-ft.
Both these engines will be padded with a six speed or seven-speed automatic transmission systems with the option of switching between FWD and AWD. There isn’t any news about its EPA rating, but it is projected to be better than the current model.
Price and Release Date
Nissan hasn’t provided any detail about its availability date but according to some unconfirmed sources, it will be available by the second quarter of 2017. Starting cost of the 2018 Nissan Patrol will be around $45,000, but it will increase according to the trim level you choose.
