The 2018 Toyota Fortuner is a mid-size crossover that has been pride for Toyota since its first arrival on the market. 2018 Fortuner will belong to the third generation of its lineup which will be adorned with restyled design and boosted powertrain. According to sources, Toyota won’t implement any significant structural changes in 2018 Fortuner, but they will use some enhancement which will boost up the performance. This car chassis and suspension will be designed in such a way that it can run on both city roads and off-road. This model will be all over the world and to make it a best seller, Toyota will reduce Fortune’s carbon emission so it can meet the emission standard in Europe and Asia.
The 2018 Fortuner will be available in six different trims, and they are: 3.0 4X2 MT, 2.5 Sportivo 4X2 MT, 3.0 4X2 AT, 2.5 Sportivo 4X2 AT, 3.0 4X4 MT and 3.0 4X4 AT.
Fortuner already has many competitors in the market, and 2018 version of its rival will pose a significant threat to its position in the market. These rivals are Dodge Durango, GMC Acadia, Honda Pilot, Hyundai Santa Fe, Ford Explorer, Nissan Pathfinder, Mitsubishi Outlander and Chevrolet Traverse.
The 2018 Toyota Fortuner will be integrated with a four-door platform that has been incorporated from steel and aluminum. The whole exterior will be redesigned so that it can be better aerodynamics, and the side section has been narrowed slightly to improve the performance.

The diesel variant will include 2.2 liters, and 3.0-liter turbocharged engine that can produce output around 175 HP and 340 lb-ft. The gasoline version will have 3.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that can produce 300 HP and 400 lb-ft.
The diesel engine will get six-speed manual while gasoline will get nine-speed automatic gearbox with the option of FWD and AWD. The mileage of this model will be 40 miles per gallon although Toyota does not officially confirm it.
Price and Availability
The 2018 Toyota Fortuner is projected to hit the showroom by the last quarter of 2017 although this news came from the unofficial source. The starting trim will cost around $45,000 while the top trim will cost $55,000.
